AVS serves as a clearinghouse of information, a training and consultancy center, a facilitator, and a coordinator of programs and projects related to volunteering.  Its effectiveness, however, depends on the cooperation and collaboration of individuals, organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and government agencies in order to achieve its objectives to promote, facilitate and improve volunteering throughout Lebanon.
