Volunteers needed!!!
April 18, 19, and 20
MONITORS OF GYSD PROJECTS: (One
time/Individual, Pairs, all over Lebanon)
AVS
will need a large number of people willing to visit Global Youth Service
Days projects being implemented by schools and youth groups throughout
Lebanon on April 18, 19, and 20 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The
actual number and location of projects will be determined from the
pre-project forms submitted by the deadline of April 4. Monitors will
represent the GYSD Lebanon committee, observe, take pictures, and submit
a brief evaluation of the projects to AVS.
Requirements: Positive personality and enthusiasm for volunteering.
All monitors must attend an orientation session at AVS on April 14 or 15
at 6 pm (tentative date/time), and be available to visit projects on at
least one of the following days: April 18, 19, or 20. At least some of
the monitors will need cars and cameras and be able to speak Arabic. For
those who need, money for gas will be provided.
