Learning to CARE Institute
- July 12-18, 2010
In keeping with the objectives of the Arab Initiative to Foster a
Culture of Volunteering (www.avs.org.lb/initiative.html),
The Association for Volunteers Services (AVS) is seeking to prepare
teams from the Arab World to serve as trainers for our Learning to
CARE Program (LTC), a comprehensive approach towards volunteering
and community service in schools and other educational institutions.
The aim is to institute Arab LTC team experts who CARE and
are Capable, Available, Reliable, and Engaged,
and that these teams will gain enough initial training to be able to
go back home to train schools in their respective countries in order
to help them develop their own school service programs.
For a more detailed description about the rationale, the profile
of potential recruits, and a brief overview of participants’ job
description, please click this link.
